A beautifully preserved set of six silver-plated ash trays by WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) - a leading name in early 20th-century German design. Each tray is pressed in the shape of layered leaves, showcasing delicate veining and soft, sculptural curves, typical of the Art Nouveau aesthetic.

Stamped WMF and GERMANY on the reverse, these finely crafted pieces date to the 1930s–40s and reflect the company’s transition from Jugendstil toward more streamlined forms. While originally designed as ashtrays, their modest scale and elegant form also make them ideal as salts, spoon rests, or decorative catchalls.

Sold as a complete set of six. One has been lightly resoldered at the handle (visible only on close inspection), with the rest in very, very good vintage condition. Light surface patina present - left unpolished.
